Recently I was looking for a quick and easy way to transfer files and photos from my computer to my iPad and back. I had tried Dropbox, but it always seemed to take so long syncing all of the files and other ways such as emailing the them to myself were just as tedious. So I thought to myself ‘I wish there was a USB flash drive that I could plug into both my iPad and my computer’. I googled my thought and guess what? It actually existed.
So I ordered my 32GB Lexar JumpDrive M20i (it also comes in 16GB and 64GB) from an online store and it quickly arrived. The drive comes with an Apple lightning plug on one end and a regular USB 3.0 plug on the other, and has a slider on the side to hide the plugs when not in use. In order to use the flash drive with your iPad or iPhone, you must download the free Lexar Mobile Manager App which you use to transfer your files.
My only issue with the driver is that when plugging it into your iPad or iPhone, you may have to remove your case to plug it in due to the width of the drive.
I’m really happy with my Lexar JumpDrive M20i as it makes my file transferring so much quicker and I am easily able to back up my iPad and iPhone photos.
