It wasn’t until my son was around 12 months of age that I became interested in kids educational toys. Once he had mastered the traditional floor puzzle, we were looking for something a little bit more challenging. This was when we discovered the magnetic puzzle!
The idea behind magnetic puzzles is that the pieces stack on top of one another vertically, cleverly fitting into place. Recommended from age 12 months, even at 2 years of age my son loves playing with his magnetic puzzles which provide hours of entertainment. We even invested in some more for his recent birthday.
I love the range of products from the Swiss brand Oops. Their toys have a trendy forest theme, are colourful and most of all fun! We also enjoy their Wooden activity train with vertical rotating blocks and have a couple of these in our collection.
I purchased mine on special, online through Mumgo. For those who don’t know, Mumgo is an online shopping site that is part of the Catch of the Day group. Mumgo provides Australian mums with advice, guidance and up to 70% off great mum, kids and baby brands! I have also seen this brand stocked online at Harvey Norman online and Big W.
I can not wait until we can show my other son how to play with the special wooden puzzles with his big brother. They are something we can treasure and look forward to passing down.
Z.
